Various Times during the Year – The Virginia Wine Camp. The Inn will host a 3-day wine camp adventure for a weekend that will include exceptional wine and culinary experiences involving five or six northern Piedmont wineries and two nights at the Inn. The camp has been designed as “the ultimate food and wine experience in Virginia wine country. A vacation and life event you will be talking about for years!”
Wine Campers participate in a hands-on learning experience in the vineyards and wine cellars, working with winery owners and winemakers. Attendees are introduced to exceptional local wines and food in the gorgeous setting that Virginia’s northern Piedmont provides. The wine camp will allow you to learn how to taste like an expert, work with talented winemakers, blend your own wine, and much more! The program includes many of the regions award winning wineries: Philip Carter Winery, Rappahannock Cellars, Naked Mountain, Desert Rose, Barrel Oak Winery, Cobbler Mountain Winery, Fox Meadow Winery, Three Fox Vineyards, Molon Lave Vineyards, Pearmund Cellars, and Vint Hill Winery.

Weekends January through the end of March – Virginia Chili and Southern Cornbread
The Music in the Vineyard Series: Join us for afternoons of live music in vineyard every Saturday during the month of March, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., as we welcome some of the most talented acts in the northern Virginia area. Bring a blanket and friends and stretch out on the lawn or in Cleve hall while you relax in wine country and enjoy the cool sounds of:

Barrel Tasting Series: The Art & Science of Wine, Saturdays and Sundays @ 11:00 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:p.m. Max. 12 guests per session, reservations highly recommended. Includes guided tour by winemaker or wine educator, tasting of 5 wines in the cellar with wine descriptions, culinary pairings with each wine, full tasting of wines in tasting room, and a keepsake Philip Carter corkscrew. $25 per person plus tax.
Mar. 14th & 15th (Sat. & Sun.) – St. Patrick’s Day Weekend. A glass of green sangria and a serving of Irish American Chili & Cornbread are sure to warm the cockles of your heart. Have a hearty serving to include chili, cornbread, and a glass of wine or our festive Green Sangria. All for $15 pp. plus tax. Warm up by the fire and enjoy our wines!

April 4th (Sat.) — Easter Wine Tasting Traditions. Experience a white linen Philip Carter Tasting in an elegant setting in the vineyard (or Cleve Hall weather dependent) with beautifully presented small plate samples of Virginia cured ham, locally farmed lamb with Virginia mint sauce, artisanal Virginia cheeses, Virginia chutneys, and sweet braided breads & hot cross buns. $35 per person @ 11:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. max. 20 guests per seating, reservations required by March 28th.
5th (Sun.) – Winery Closed in observance of Easter.
April 11th (Sat.)Fly the Philip Carter Skies Weekend: Celebrate spring with us and join the Kite Club at PCW. Demonstration & exhibition flights, history and safety instruction and a kite contest. Bring a kite to fly and receive a 15% discount on any 3-bottle purchase. Enjoy the Music in the Vineyard Series 1:30pm-4:30pm.
April 18th (Sat.) – A Walk in the Clouds, a Vineyard Tour & Tasting with PCW’s Winemaker – (Earth Day is April 22nd) Come and join Philip Carter’s winemaker for a vineyard talk with tasting. Walk the vineyard with Philip Carter’s award winning winemaker Jeremy Ligon; learn about bio-dynamic and natural wine trends and sustainable agriculture. Then take a tour of the cellar and wine production and go behind to the scenes to learn how premium wine is made from one of Virginia’s fastest rising star winemakers. Sessions @ 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. ($25.00 per person, max. 12 guests per session, reservations required). Celebrate Earth Day and enjoy the Live Music in the Vineyard Series from 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
April 25th (Sat.) – Seventh Annual Annandale High School Day. This is an annual benefit for the AHS PTSA to benefit programs at Annandale High School, such as to assist those students who are unable to afford the fees associated with the sports programs sponsored by Fairfax County Public School. Wear red and white and receive a 10% discount on wine purchases. The winery will raffle a weeknight stay at the Inn at Vineyards Crossing with all proceeds from the raffle to be donated to the AHS PTSA. Most Spirited/Best Dressed will be presented a complimentary bottle of wine. Live music all day. Admission is FREE.
